We manufacture isothermal van bodies for installation on all Class B and C (Pat. B/C) chassis cabs available on the market. We are capable of molding panels up to a length of 13.60m.
For the construction of the external structure, we use expanded polyurethane sheets with a density of 35 kg/m².
The external cladding is made of laminated G.R.P. (Glass Reinforced Plastic).
The internal lining consists of rigid expanded polyurethane panels perfectly bonded to both the internal and external G.R.P. skins, forming a compact sandwich structure.
The floor is reinforced with marine-grade birch phenolic plywood, with thickness varying according to specific requirements.
As standard, the isothermal cell is finished with anodized aluminum profiles and equipped with a retractable ladder and grab handle at the rear. The standard equipment also includes two 300x80mm Heavy Duty rubber bumpers.
Our subframes, designed for the vehicle's original chassis, are all hot-dip galvanized with bolted rather than welded cross-members: do you want to switch the chassis but keep the cell without replacing everything?

We can customize the cell to your specific needs for food transport at 0°C or -20°C, with or without a refrigeration unit.
We are authorized installers of Carrier, ThermoKing, and Zanotti refrigeration units. Furthermore, we provide routine and extraordinary maintenance and servicing for both your refrigeration unit and isothermal cell, as well as cell transfers between different chassis.
AC Plast can also ship your van body in kit form.
We handle the molding and supply of all the refrigerator cell components; you only have to assemble it.
All our cells are eligible for ATP certification.
